This is a concept logo I started to work on for the company that I work for. The management decided against drawing a lot of attention to the brand. I work for a company that publishes an advertising magazine which is mailed directly to homes (direct mail). After each publication we used to mail out printed samples of the product to our paying advertisers so they could see the final product and verify that their ad was in fact published. A couple of years ago we began uploading low resolution pdfs to our web server using specialized software that converts the pdf into a web based, Flash, page turning experience for viewers. Our paying clients can now go to a web page and look at their papers digitally to verify that their ad was published. It’s all under the guise of going green but a larger factor may be the amount of money saved on postage. My company calls this ePapers
The above are two concepts I created that never got out of the black and white phase. I colored them with a couple shades of green for today’s post just to liven them up a bit. I don’t really have much to say about them. I think I like the top one the best.
Participate: I am always accepting ideas from readers. Currently I would like to hear ideas on the existing logo or another fictitious or existing brand that you would like to see me design or re-design a logo for. See you all tomorrow.
