Today I’m back to re-branding. I chose a local contractor who recently underwent a minor name change. Previously Politz Construction, now Politz Enterprises. Politz is a company with a lot to offer and I feel like their existing logo doesn’t offer much to their overall image.
The following is my attempt to visually presenting the company’s multi-dimensional offerings. Politz provides a wide range of services. Whether you are doing a major structural renovation on your home or a small addition, or just replacement windows, Politz is worth giving a call because they do everything. Not only do they offer a wide range of services, they are licensed in several states. I wanted to create a logo that visually represents their comprehensive, multi-dimensional and top to bottom service offerings.
The color scheme is simple using a few shades of gray and deep red, which the company already seems fond of. I created a three dimensional representation of a house. Politz offers major and minor home renovation and I wanted to create an image that would represent a top to bottom feeling. Here we see prominent visuals of a roof and a concrete foundation. I also wanted to visually represent the feeling of inside and out. The initials P. E. create the walls of the house which you can see through. I feel this visual demonstrates the inside and out feeling that I hoped to convey. Well that’s it for today. Hope you like, and let me know what you think!
