Composite Imagery, Day 20.

Composite Imagery Day 20. This is not what I intended for today’s post but I didn’t learn my lesson from about a month ago. I  was pluggin’ along for about an hour and really getting into my creation and my battery went out without a warning. And, I did not save my work. So, I will be posting Composite Imagery Day 21, tomorrow. Today’s post includes the same images that I will use tomorrow. Try to guess what tomorrow’s design will look like!  See you then. ~Sean.

Composite Imagery, Day 19.

Composite Imagery Day 19. I think composite imagery is evolving into another series which I may call Photo Objects. I am also enjoying the mid century turn I’m taking in these last few designs. This image is a photo of a space capsule with an image of tree bark as the background. The tree bark image has been inverted (made into a negative image). Additional hue adjustments have been made in rectangular shapes to divide the background as well as allow contrast for the text. The typography that I have used is a knock-off version of a typeface called Hellenic Wide, one of my favorite mid century type faces.  Hope you like and I will see you all again tomorrow with another design. ~Sean.

Composite Imagery, Day 17.

Composite Imagery Day 17. Here we have a photo of one of my many mustang models, blended with a photo of a wall paper pattern from the Barclay Towers in Virginia Beach, VA. I often take photos of wall and fabric textures or patterns and I often get some funny looks form folks in my proximity. When I am able to use these snap shots in designs like this I feel it is worth being misunderstood at the time of the photo taking. 🙂 Hope you like. See you all tomorrow! ~Sean.

Composite Imagery, Day 16.

Composite Imagery Day 16. Using the same texture overlays from the previous two posts. Today I applied them to a photo of a butterfly. I also added an image of the inside of a cave which is where the brown color comes from. Hope you like. See you all tomorrow! ~Sean.

Composite Imagery, Day 15.

Composite Imagery Day 15. I used the same exact texture overlays from yesterday with a photo of autumn maple leaves. Hope you like and I also want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Oh yeah, be careful tomorrow if you plan on participating in the Black Friday madness. See you all tomorrow! ~Sean.

Composite Imagery, Day 13.

Composite Imagery Day 13. This is a photo of palm trees reflecting on the side of a glass building. The clouds were taken from my balcony. It is a close up of a thunderhead as the early evening sun colored it orange and red. The images are overlaid here to give an interesting and colorful effect. see you all tomorrow! ~Sean.
