Composite Imagery Day 19. I think composite imagery is evolving into another series which I may call Photo Objects. I am also enjoying the mid century turn I’m taking in these last few designs. This image is a photo of a space capsule with an image of tree bark as the background. The tree bark image has been inverted (made into a negative image). Additional hue adjustments have been made in rectangular shapes to divide the background as well as allow contrast for the text. The typography that I have used is a knock-off version of a typeface called Hellenic Wide, one of my favorite mid century type faces.
