Composite Imagery Day 19. I think composite imagery is evolving into another series which I may call Photo Objects. I am also enjoying the mid century turn I’m taking in these last few designs. This image is a photo of a space capsule with an image of tree bark as the background. The tree bark image has been inverted (made into a negative image). Additional hue adjustments have been made in rectangular shapes to divide the background as well as allow contrast for the text. The typography that I have used is a knock-off version of a typeface called Hellenic Wide, one of my favorite mid century type faces. It looks like the capsule is floating in space because of the work you did on the background image. Very cool. The font fits perfectly too.
