Creation #63. Background Pattern with Red Squares.

Back to experimenting with the tiled background image that I started on Friday. Today I abandoned the Adobe Illustrator scatter brush technique that I used before. Today I tiled individual squares side by side in a grid. Then I changed the color of selected squares to create the feeling of going from dark to light, from upper left to lower right. I used a large gradient back ground behind my tiled squares and set the blending mode of the tiled squares to multiply to help enhance a subtle, smooth transition from dark to light. Finally I deleted several squares in the lower right, light corner. Still not exactly what I was going for but still a worthy exercise. I may return with another one, stay tuned!
