Today we go back to the early 80’s again with the Duran Duran single Night Boat. The song projects an eerie feeling in both lyric and melody and if you’ve every seen the video it will leave you with chill. The video features zombies wandering around near a boat dock on a lake. The band members running and hiding from the specters which seem to greet them at every corner. I believe Simon LeBon is even possessed. Scary stuff. I depicted dark water with the title of the song and band’s name overlaid in white. I used a retro font to capture that mid century design feeling that I love. On a side note, the photo is one that I took from a paddle boat back in 2008. Hope you like. ~Sean

The purple water is very eerie. It, with the font, depicts the feeling of the song perfectly.
perfection… i thought about this song when u did my own way… my idea was similar not purple and had a silhouette/shadow of the boat in the reflected moon light– pretty close to this– Brilliant– love the song love the art
